Octomore .1 Series

This bundle pairs two ".1" editions from Bruichladdich's famously extreme Octomore series — the benchmark expressions against which every other release in the line is measured. Both are distilled from 100% Scottish barley and matured for five years exclusively in first-fill American oak, letting the raw, super-heavily peated spirit take center stage.

• Octomore Edition 13.1 (70cl) — Peated to 137.3 PPM, with a nose of sweet nutty smoke, ripe orchard fruit and honeyed barley sugar, developing into a rich, viscous palate of smoked apricot, charred oak and burnt heather.
• Octomore Edition 14.1 (70cl) — Peated to 128.9 PPM, opening with smoked vanilla, toffee and toasted coconut, then unfolding into bright citrus, pear and green apple wrapped in earthy, bonfire-like smoke.

Together, they make a compelling side-by-side tasting of how subtle shifts in peat level and vintage shape the Octomore character.
