This Privacy Policy describes how your personal data is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from whiskery.com.my (the “Site”).

By using the Site, you consent to the processing of your Personal Data by Whiskery and all persons involved in the provision of services by Whiskery.

Personal data we collect
“Personal Data” means information about you which you have provided to Whiskery, such as your name, address, telephone number, NRIC, email address, your personal preferences and bank account information and any information which may identify you that has been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by Whiskery from time to time.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

You must only submit personal data which is accurate and not misleading and you must keep it up to date and inform us of any changes to the personal data you have provided to us. We shall have the right to request for documentation to verify the personal data provided by you as part of our customer verification processes.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Data” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal data?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
- To verify and carry out financial transactions in relation to payments you make online;

- To carry out research on our users’ demographics and behaviour; and
- For internal administrative purposes.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).


Sharing your personal data
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, in order to comply with statutory and government request we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights, to the extent permissible by applicable law. You agree not to take any action and/or waive your rights to take any action against Whiskery for the disclosure of your personal data in these circumstances.

As described above, we use your Personal Data to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Transfer of Personal Data
As Whiskery's information technology storage facilities and servers may be located in other jurisdictions, your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction other than Malaysia. You understand and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data out of Malaysia as described herein.

Security of Your Personal Data

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, processing, copying, modification, disposal, loss, misuse, modification or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as:

(a) Restricting access to personal data to individuals who require access;

(b) Maintaining technology products to prevent unauthorised computer access; and

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Age Limit
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 21.
