Black Tomato Gin 500ml

The distillery is facing the clear waters of the Oosterschelde which is the biggest National park in the Netherlands. After dozens of testing and tasting sessions, the master distiller, Meindert Kampen came up with the best ever artisan distilled Black Tomato Gin!

Aside from the secret botanicals, they use some small drops of fresh salt Oosterschelde water and homegrown juicy black tomatoes. The distillery is one of the rare distillers in the Netherlands with its own traditional malt-floor, stone floor for sprouting of steeped malting-grains.

Black tomatoes contain a high amount of healing anthocyanin, compounds that occur in vegetables and fruits. Some believe that the antioxidants could help diabetes, cancer and obesity. They harvest their own crop to ensure that only the highest quality tomatoes are used. 

Tasting Notes

Botanicals: Tomatoes,  juniper berries,  Piment, Secret botanicals, and salt water.

Nose: Tomato, spice and berries

Palate: The palate is full-bodied and savory with notes of salt, juniper and cardamon.

Finish: The finish is long and crisp.
