Derived from the Gaelic term "Gleann Aileachaidh," which translates to "Valley of the Rocks," this Scottish-owned and managed whisky company is dedicated to the essentials: crafting exceptional whisky and relishing in the pleasures of life.

Continuing the legacy of its esteemed predecessors, notably Batch 4 which was honored as the "World's Best Single Malt" at the 2021 World Whiskies Awards, the eagerly awaited Batch 8 of The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Cask Strength has been unveiled.

Meticulously curated by Master Blender Billy Walker, who is celebrating five decades in the whisky industry this year, this release exemplifies the art of wood management. It is a harmonious blend of whisky sourced from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry puncheons, along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks, resulting in a liquid that brims with indulgent notes of zesty orange, luscious mocha, and enticing spices. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.2% ABV, without chill-filtration, and presented in its unadulterated colour, this whisky is a true showcase of its purest form.

GlenAllachie is a Scottish whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was founded in 1967 by William Delmé-Evans, who was also responsible for designing and building the distillery.

GlenAllachie was initially used as a blending whisky for the Mackinlay McPherson and White Horse blends, but it was eventually purchased by Pernod Ricard in 1989 and became part of the Chivas Brothers portfolio.

In 2017, GlenAllachie was sold to a group of investors led by Billy Walker, a veteran of the whisky industry who had previously worked at other distilleries such as BenRiach and GlenDronach. Under his leadership, GlenAllachie has undergone a significant transformation, with the release of new expressions and the expansion of its production facilities.

GlenAllachie produces a range of single malt whiskies, including 10-year-old, 12-year-old, and 15-year-old expressions, as well as cask strength and limited edition bottlings. The whisky is known for its fruity and floral notes, as well as its smooth and balanced flavour profile.
